Wide Variety of Items from Tableware to Casual Souvenirs
We have everything imaginable to go on your table, from place mats and coasters made of fabric or lacquer ware, not to mention ceramics and porcelain. There are small items that are suitable as gifts or for daily use, and other items that are more suitable as souvenirs or commemorative gifts, including incense and tapestries.

On both sides of the path as you walk from the gate towards Asahi Touan, you will see a variety of reasonably priced items for sale from all over Japan.
Although we focus on traditionally crafted tableware, we have a wide selection of ceramics, porcelain and craft items, all of which are displayed in such a way that you can find out about each individual work in detail. Please read the profile of each artist, look at their photos and get to know them.

Have a Rest by the Sunken Hearth
We made a space with a sunken hearth on the southern side of Asahi Touan so you can take a rest as you look through all the items on display. There is a nice view of Kyoto from the window, and in the spring you can see Japanese wisteria flowers hanging from the terrace ceiling.
